Support In Love was considered a “symbol of the city” by the Orange County Register, after the design helped raise a combined total of over $400,000 for the families of the victims of the Salon Meritage tragedy in Seal Beach, CA.
The design also sparked the creation of a memorial by the Seal Beach City Council for an iconic heart-shaped marker and eight benches at Eisenhower Park, which overlooks Seal Beach Pier and includes beach access. The location is named the Support in Love Memorial Plaza.
